It was an energizing weekend in Columbia as we gathered for two major events that set the tone for the upcoming election season.
The Blue Palmetto Dinner We kicked things off on Friday, May 29, at the sold out Blue Palmetto Dinner. It was a fantastic evening of networking and community, highlighted by an insightful keynote address from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm, and it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow advocates.
SC Democratic Party State Convention On Saturday, May 30, the momentum continued at the SC State Fairgrounds for the State Convention. Once again, a full house focused on the core work of our movement: electing more Democratic candidates. A major highlight of the convention was the inspiring remarks from U.S. Representatives Ro Khanna and Jim Clyburn, both of whom reminded us of the importance of the work ahead. We also had the pleasure of celebrating the next generation of leadership, as two classes of Clyburn Fellows were officially recognized for their hard work and dedication to our movement.
