Join the Lexington County Democratic Party (LCDP) at Moore Park as we celebrate the 6th Annual Irmo Juneteenth Celebration! Presented by the African American Historical Society of Irmo, this event is a powerful blend of cultural pride, education, and community connection.
As we honor the trailblazers and historians who shaped our town and country, we invite you to help us build a more equitable future. We are tabling to ensure every neighbor is registered to vote and empowered to make their voice heard in the 2026 elections.
Volunteers will help us:
- Engage the Community: Chat with neighbors about the LCDP’s vision for Lexington County.
- Register Voters: Provide the tools for our community to exercise their most fundamental right.
- Support the Celebration: Help spread the word about the LCDP while enjoying a day of live music, history, and local food.
The Experience:
This is a family-friendly celebration featuring live performances from soul star Tia Durant, a pop-up Irmo History Museum, a health and wellness zone, and a vibrant interactive kids’ zone. We’ve timed our volunteer shifts so you can experience the heart of the festival while making a difference!
