We are thrilled to announce that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming South Carolina Democratic Party State Convention! Governor Walz brings a wealth of experience and a powerful message of progress that will inspire and energize us as we continue our fight for a better future.
If you’re not a delegate to the state convention, don’t worry—you can still catch Governor Walz’s speech live on YouTube! Be sure to tune in and join us for this exciting moment.

In addition, we’re excited to share that both Governor Walz and our Blue Palmetto Dinner speaker, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, will be attending Congressman Clyburn’s “World Famous” Fish Fry. It’s sure to be an amazing opportunity to hear from these incredible leaders and connect with fellow Democrats.
We look forward to seeing you at the State Convention or online for the livestream!
State Convention Registration
We do our best to guess how many people will show up to the convention each year. This year we are asking you to register so we will know if you are coming or not! This helps us to plan and to spend money more efficiently. We are also requesting this year that you make a $10 contribution/registration fee to help offset our costs. No delegate is required to pay to participate in the convention.
