Born in England and raised in Ethiopia, she developed an early global perspective that would later shape her professional path. After studying agriculture and earning top national honors, she transitioned into construction and infrastructure, eventually launching her own company which led telecommunications infrastructure projects across the UK. She went on to hold senior leadership roles in major engineering and energy efforts, including managing complex construction projects and helping lead the decommissioning of a nuclear power plant. Her work eventually took her onto the international stage as a senior executive, where she oversaw business operations across Asia-Pacific and contributed to critical infrastructure solutions, including emergency response systems following the Fukushima disaster. Throughout her career, she has combined sharp business acumen with the ability to lead large teams, navigate high-stakes projects, and engage across cultures and industries.
Edwina’s global career ended when she was transferred to South Carolina and fell in love. She put down roots and focused on community, service, and local leadership. After stepping away from her international executive career, she became a real estate professional and began her own consulting firm. She also founded The Celtic Wisdom Center, a nonprofit that creates space for spiritual connection and community gathering both online and in person.
