Edwina might not be a native of South Carolina but she has spent 13 years here creating roots and family. She is running for South Carolina Secretary of State because she believes deeply in the promise of South Carolina and the opportunities this country provides. As an immigrant, she came here believing in the ideals of fairness, hard work, and honest government. South Carolina welcomed her, and she wants to give back by serving the people of this state. She is running to bring fresh energy, strengthen transparency, protect seniors and consumers from fraud, and ensure the Secretary of State’s office works for everyone who calls South Carolina home.
During her 38 year career, Edwina has worked all over the world, doing business in the UK, China, Japan, South Korea and Europe. Closer to home she has been a Senior Executive in a multinational company. She now is a small business owner, real estate agent and has set up a non -profit in the state to benefit people. She has also served a poll manager in elections since 2020.
