We are fortunate to have several strong candidates emerging for the municipal elections this fall, and we see a significant opportunity to potentially flip House District #88. Our volunteers will be crucial in these races, which will also set us up well to flip CD-2 in 2026 the more we organize now.
Our first combined meeting for cross-county organizational partners is scheduled for Thursday, September 11th, at 6 PM. This meeting will be held via Zoom and will be very action-oriented after we review introductory items. Precinct leaders, county leadership, and others are also included in this communication so they may attend as able.
The agenda for the meeting includes:
* Reviewing the reasons for combining efforts across counties.
* Discussing why Canvassing and Phonebanking are our most impactful actions.
* Setting dates for canvassing and phone banking activities (including training) for both the party and individual candidates through December 2025.
* Reviewing upcoming races to determine where our support can be most impactful.
* Assign liaisons and roles for individual campaigns/days of action.
