The first 4 weeks of the 2nd Trump Administration have been a firehose of activity. The “Flood the Zone” strategy is designed to overwhelm us and is an attempt to get the American public to check out of politics.
We don’t have to follow every distraction from the Administration, but please do not tune out completely.
You are not alone in your feelings of disappointment, frustration and anger.
It may not seem like much, but one way to take action is to call your elected representatives. It does make a difference and you can take some control in knowing that your have made your opinions heard.
See below some information on who to call and sample scripts.

Why call your elected representatives?
Calling your representative is the best way to make your voice heard.
Once your congressperson forms a public stance on an issue, it’s hard for them to walk it back. The earlier they hear your opinion, the more likely it is you’ll make an impact.
Calling is by far the most effective way to ensure that your representative hears you before they make a public stance.
