2026 Democratic Primary: June 9

Yes, you have a choice this year!

Before you dive in, please note: The leaders listed below are running in contested primary races on June 9th—meaning we need your voice to decide who becomes our official nominee. But our vision goes far beyond this primary. This November, we are making history. The SCDP announced recruitment of Democratic candidates for all 124 State House seats, all seven statewide constitutional offices, all 7 U.S. Congressional districts, and the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Lindsey Graham, making 2026 the most expansive candidate recruitment cycle in the modern history of the state party. For every single state seat on your ballot, there will be a Democrat ready to fight for our values. We are contesting every race, and we are playing to win. Choose your champion below, and let’s shape the change we want to see.
